Layout issue: Closing and opening brackets { } appear in bottom/footer of my website (sitewide)

Recommended Posts

Hello!

Does anyone know, why I all of a sudden have a issue with a opening - and closing bracket appearing in the bottom of my website?

See picture:

I have a codeblock in the footer for my watermark/fixed quote. Could that be, what's causing the issue?

<div class="stickylink">

</div>

Thanks in advance 🙂

These curly braces have been incorrectly added to Settings > Advanced > Code Injection > Footer

You'll also find that, in the same panel, you are attempting to load jQuery version 3.4.1 twice(!) and jQuery version 3.5.0. You only ever need one version of jQuery so it would be a good idea to remove the two lines referring to version 3.4.1 as this older version has known security vulnerabilities.
