PhoenixPrince
Dear All, I hope you can help me. I have a members only page, which I would like only members to access using a unique login and password for each member. Is this possible? Link to comment
Ziggy
Yes, that's exactly what a member area does: https://www.squarespace.com/ecommerce/membership-sites Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. PhoenixPrince
Thanks for the quick response! The link allows users to setup their own login and password and immediately login. I'm wondering if it's possible that I give them access or control access to the members area? Apologies if my original question was unclear. Cheers Link to comment

PhoenixPrince
Thanks Ziggy, In my website, I have a page(s), that I would like only selected people to access. I'd like to be in control of access for each person by providing them (via email) a unique password (and ID if possible) so they can access the page. I'd also like to be in control of adding or removing their access. I have subscribed and tried using a members area, but it seems members can simply register and get access. I've also tried Lock Screen page, but that uses 1 unique password. I'd like to have different passwords for each user. Thanks for your expert advice! Link to comment
Ziggy
I don't know of a way to do that. How many individual members have you got? If it's a small number you could use a different page and password per member, but that'll get tricky to manage if you have too many. Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. PhoenixPrince
Thanks Ziggy, The number of members is small < 20. Is your suggestion to to create a locked page for each member? Each with their own Password? If so how do I do that? Link to comment

That would be one way for you to do this, it may not be the best way, but it's simple. All you need to do it build your pages for each member (if they're similar or the same, then use the duplicate page in the page settings), then add a unique password to each page, and share the full page URL and password with the respective members. PhoenixPrince
Great Thanks Ziggy. I wasn't aware of the duplicate page function. Is there another (better) way? Link to comment
