AmyUWD
Hello! I'm working with a client who currently has her site built on squarespace with an annual plan through the end of August 2023. With the circle membership, the site I redesigned for her expires in July of 2023. I don't want her to lose the money she paid for the annual membership when we transfer her domain. I'm wondering if she sets up billing now for a new annual plan if it will start charging her immediately or after the 6 months is up in July. That way to the client it will feel more like they only lost one month of payments rather than 6. Or if there's a better work around with this, I'd love to hear it because I feel so bad I didn't ask if she was on monthly or annual before we started! Link to comment
Ziggy
The 6 month trial with Circle is not for a live website, it allows you to build behind a password, but you cannot publish the website without having an active subscription. The better news; Squarespace are very understanding about redesigns, if you get onto the live chat and explain that you've moved a clients domain to a new website and request a pro rata refund they will do that when you cancel the subscription. (this is just for annual subscriptions). https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/219648707-How-do-I-contact-Squarespace-Customer-Support-?platform=v6&websiteId=608c1294de99e60b4063273d Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you.
