Fix formatting of product description on Facebook/Instagram Commerce

Does anyone happen to to know a way to keep the rich text formatting from SquareSpace so that when it appears on Instagram or Facebook it's not all one big piece of text.

I know I could go and remove all formatting from my product descriptions but it would be a shame to lose this.

Same issue!!

Only thing I could do is remove any special characters etc across my SquareSpace product descriptions. At least it's readable on Instagram that way. Previously if I had any special characters even quote marks or accents, the text would be all scrambled. I still haven't found a fix for the formatting to come through.

Have you raised this with Squarespace Customer Care?

Thanks or the reply. I just did that there now. I somehow feel the response is going to be to contact Facebook in relation to the issue which is why I didn't do it sooner.
