insert identical images from the library in portfolio pages and their setting pages

Hi, thks in advance for you reply. 

When creating a portfolio I insert on the pages images from the library. 

How can I insert the same image into my portfolio settings page? I do not see how to get access to my library at these settings pages.

That's a very good question, I have no idea why the portfolio thumbnail can't be pulled from the library! Seems like madness.

I typically add my photo there first and then pull from the library to add the photo within the portfolio item.
