Adding Product filters to a block with Shopify Buy Button

I'm currently using square space as my website platform, but using Shopify as my e-commerce/POS tool. I've been able to successfully plug the Shopify buy button into my pages, but I'd like to also incorporate dynamic filters. Currently the user must click on an item to see if it's in stock in their size. I'd rather they be able to select ex. "size Large" as a filter, so they only see what fits them.

Is there a way to apply a filtering/sorting tool to a block with a Shopify buy button? I'm using a Shopify "collection" if that makes any difference.

No, you cannot control Shopify Buy Button content from your Squarespace website.

For that type of functionality (and to stick with Shopify POS) you'll need to use the full version of Shopify for your ecommerce pages and send customers from your Squarespace website to your Shopify site to look at products. When you aren't embedding your products using Buy Buttons you'll be able to add features in Shopify that control filtering/sorting.
