Anchor Links will not work properly

I have followed the steps here - https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/207135178-Creating-anchor-links

Code block has been added with 

<p id="form"></p>

When you're linking internally on the website, you shouldn't be adding the this: https://www.cloover.se just /home/#form

You may also want to move the code block with the anchor text to the very top of the section.

Additionally, adding this to your custom CSS will animate the scroll rather than jumping:

html {
  scroll-behavior: smooth;
}

Let me know if that's enough to get it working correctly.

Thanks for your response. I have updated this, but it still does not solve the problem. 

You can troubleshoot this by following these steps. 

1. Go to https://www.cloover.se/
2. Click on 'contact us'
3. Notice that the URL changes to https://www.cloover.se/home/#form
4. Then if you click on 'contact us' again, it then works! (Strange)

Hmm, this is strange, I can't see that you've set anything up incorrectly, so I'm not sure what to suggest, sorry about that!

Is there someone else who might be able to take a look? This is quite a crucial part of our website as you can imagine! We need people to be able to navigate easily to contact us.

Might this be a bug with Squarespace? Cannot see anything wrong on my-side?

I will submit a support ticket, but I am guessing that as this is a custom code error, it will not be something they will address.

I have also submitted one but I am really struggling to get anywhere with them. They keep thinking the URL slug or code is incorrect, when it is not.

And all buttons have the url slug https://www.cloover.se/home/#form

But it just keeps bringing me to the top of the home page, and not the form. When you then click on the 'contact us' button, at the top of the page, it then goes down to the anchor link. 

Please help.

How to link to anchor links on other pages

@Cloovercam Ignore that last comment about the section. I just checked it on my laptop and it's working as expected I think.

There's one spot where it hung up when clicking a button but that was my connection I think.

I have, but it still doesn't seem to work as expected. I think i may have diagnosed what the issue is though. When I do try to get to my anchor link, it looks like it starts to scroll and then something stops it. When I expected further I could see that there are 3 errors being highlighted from a 3rd party tool 'calconic'. 

When I remove this tool from the homepage, the anchor links then works as expected! 

Issue is I like this tool and don't want to have to remove it... So will need to troubleshoot these errors! 

Gotcha. That is so weird that it worked for me on my end and is giving you issues. Keep us posted on what you figure out.
