Remove "/cart" from homepage

Hey All,
Simple question. I had previously started to set up my site for commerce for selling some digital products that I ended up not going through with and have removed from my site, no live options to buy. However, the "cart" option is still floating at the top of my navigation, unconnected to the non product tabs (my site is now serving primarily as a portfolio). Is there a quick way to disable the cart or commerce all together from my site? No products were sold just only started the process to set it up many months ago.

Thanks

You cannot remove the cart page or the commerce features but you can hide the cart icon so that customers don't stumble upon them.

This guide explains how to hide the cart icon: Shopping cart icon display.
