Can I insert a BUTTON that runs an embed code that will refresh a page. OR should I embed a code but how do I run it?

Can you explain the context in a little more detail? Why would a visitor need to refresh the page?

Also, please provide a working link to the site.

From my understanding, because I'm wondering the same thing it would work as a back to the top button. Refreshing the page would take you to the top of the page.

Alternatively is there a way to make a button that takes the user back to the top of the page without refreshing the page?
