Beata
I have a contact form on my website (version 7.1) I like to keep all my emails in a conversation thread in gmail, however in this version I can't make the subject line be unique to each client who contacts me. I used to have the 7.0 version and putting Subject> "first and last name" in the text place holder area as the first line in the form worked. The emails would come in "Form Submission - contact - Clients name." This does not work in 7.1 Is there anything that anyone has figured out to make this work? Link to comment

This does not work in 7.1 I imagine that someone added some custom JavaScript code to your 7.0 site to add this functionality to the form. I say this because the forms on Squarespace 7.1 have the same features as those on Squarespace 7.0. They allow you to add custom text to the email subject by adding a text field with the label 'Subject' but it wouldn't include the text that you quoted. For this you would need custom code. Beata
Oh, that makes sense. Thank you. My old website was set up by a friend, because I am quite computer illiterate. Link to comment
