Huge text size on mobile device - email campaigns

Recommended Posts

I have a few people on our mailing list that have written to me saying they can't read the email campaigns due to the text being too large on their mobile device. I've tested it many times on my device and I can never duplicate the problem. Does anyone know how to rectify this?

Here's a link to the latest campaign together with some screenshots of what the email looks like on the mobile device of the person who alerted us to the problem. (It does not look like this on my mobile device, I sent the same campaign to myself also)

Ask them if they have adjusted the display and text size on their phone to make it easier to read. This will affect the way your emails render on their device.

Ask them to check which version of iOS they are using and, if they are not using the built-in Mail app, which app are they using to view the emails? The current version of iOS is v16.2.

Thanks so much for the suggestion. I have asked one of my friends to check it for me and I am waiting to hear back from her

@paul2009this is the response, do you think it's her email provider that is the problem?.... I haven’t adjusted the size of text in my phone at all. I've got the the latest OS 16.2. I don’t use the inbuilt mail program - I get your emails on a different platform altogether. I use Firstclass - a web based secure encrypted email program.

I'm concerned that there are others that this is happening with that are not telling me and therefore affecting how many people get to read the content being sent out. Thanks for your help with this
