Add A Saved Section To The Product Detail Page (Or Any Page) With CSS

Recommended Posts

I have a website where I intend there to be a 'scrolling' section at the top of every page, however on some pages it's impossible to add any sections or to even edit them. I was wondering if there was a way of adding a saved section to the product detail page, the search results page, the shopping cart page and checkout page.

Also, is there a way to have a cart button on a non header section? A cart which has the number of products displayed, just like it is on the header except this time not on the header?

Would appreciate help, thanks.

For adding section on product detail pages, we can add block on additional information. Have you tried it yet?

Another approach we can try is using some javascript to render your desired section on every product detail pages.

Notice: Javascript is only available on business plan or above ones

2. For the cart button, do you mean duplicating your current cart button into a new one and moving it to another position on your site?

I want the scrolling text (white background, black text) to be right at the top of the page... above the header (the header for the page isn't an official squarespace header, it's a section) and above the product and details

Hi Beyondspace,

I too, would like to be able to add a section to my Product Detail pages.

I am aware of the "Additional Detail" that can be added, however that needs to be altered for every individual product. I already have my products in place, and it would take so long to go in and add details for every product....

whereas if I can simply add a section to the main Product Detail page, it would apply to ALL product detail pages. Would that be correct?

I would just have it between the Product Details section and the Footer. Id love if you can help out!

Thankyou

You can add a section to Footer, then we can give code to move it to all product details

or you can add it to Not Linked Page, then we can give code to do similar (but this option will require a custom plugin)
