Piabela
Hi, I'm trying to edit my start/home page and after I press "edit" and change some items .... simple stuff, just replacing an image ... I cannot save the changes. The only button that i can find is the "done" button and after I press that, it goes back to the original image What am I missing? Link to comment
creedon
Try reloading the page. Try restarting the browser. Do you have custom code installed? Remove custom code, make a copy somewhere. Does it work now? Then custom code is causing the problem, fix it. Find my contributions useful? Please like, upvote, mark my answer as the best ( solution ), and see my profile. Piabela
I did - I even signed into my iPad now to see if I find button there. nada what I don’t get is that I set up this page originally, but now can’t edit. I just added a new piece of art to sell…that wasn’t the issue, there I had the save button. this is what I see below -I simply want to change the picture and topic to 2023 calendar and it keeps coming back to this after I press done Link to comment
Piabela
What’s a custom code? Link to comment
creedon
Custom code is custom CSS (Design > Custom CSS) or JavaScript you've added to the site at various code injection locations around the site.. Piabela
I duplicated page, edited it, and set as homepage. That solved the issue. Thanks creedon 1 Link to comment
creedon
Excellent! Sometimes pages go wonky and a duplicate can sometimes take care of the issue. Be sure your URL Slug for the page is the one you want. When you dupe, the dupe gets a new slug. For example. /home would become /home-1. To swap the slug you have to change the "old" page slug to something like /home-old, then for the new page, set it's slug to /home.
