Track Traffic Source of Sale

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm collaborating with a ceramist where we plan on releasing a dinnerware set. The idea is we will split profits depending on whether the sale comes from their audience (website, Instagram, email) or mine (YouTube, Instagram, website, email). The store will be on my site.

I am wondering if there is any backend analytics that can tell me where a sale comes from, without the customer inputting any codes? It'd need to be somewhat detailed, eg, not just 'Instagram' being the source, but whether it was their Instagram or mine.

If there isn't such detail, do you have any suggestions using external website trackers, etc?
