Tag Cloud misses a Design function

The Tag cloud is a good idea in principle, but sadly I cannot change the design of it from anywhere, meaning I have to stick with some very ugly design.

The font and size are randomly picked from one of the designs. The spacing cannot be adjusted, making tags unreadable and cannot choose whether to centre them or keep them left/right.

(see "data, opendiary, seed, transparency should all be separate....)

I know this is a dead forum thread but I am working on a similar thing right now and would love more insight into what classes and css ids i can use to style the tag cloud!
