Hi I am very new to Squarespace and haven't any experience in web site development but am reasonably computer literate. I am trying to create a web site for my husband with Squarespace 7.1 ( point-coyote-bdmy.squarespace.com
I want to create links from a page to other pages (eg a link in a photo of a ship will take the visitor to a page with detailed information about the ship) but I don't want the linked pages to appear in the Page Header. Is there anyway I can do this?

Hey Sandy,

To have pages 'live' on the site (eg. they can be linked to, but not appear in the main nav), you just need to drag the page down from 'Main Navigation' to 'Not Linked' in your pages section. Screenshot attached.

Hope this helps!
