Trying to get my header on my new site to look like a similar site

Recommended Posts

I'm currently building out a website and am having some issues with header customization. I am trying to figure out the custom code to get a header with two different colors on it like this website: https://www.stellamaris.academy/

The new site doesn't need to have double menus like this one, simply just want to have a blue and white split header. Does anyone know of easy code to add in to achieve this? Thanks!

The example you posted was built with a Squarespace 7.0 Brine-family template where top and bottom navigations are built-in options. If you're building from scratch, this would be the best template for this type of layout. Other templates, including the newer Squarespace 7.1 template, aren't built to do this. You could build something similar with custom code but it would be reasonably fragile and not easy for a client to update.
