add text next to products in shop that is not part of product description

Hi there

I would like to add one sentence next to each of my products in the shop, as a way to hook people into clicking on he actual product itself for full description. I also think the product page looks rather sparse without any writing and just images.  However the only way I can see to do this is by writing a sentence on the product description tab, the issue with this is that the additional sentence is then carried all the way through the site whenever this product is mentioned i.e in the cart.  How can I add text underneath of above product in shop page?
