Imported site from WordPress and pdfs are not linked to text links

I am brand new to SquareSpace and am rapidly trying to transition from WordPress to SquareSpace. I successfully imported my WordPress site. All of my previous text links to pdfs show as active, however, when I click on them nothing displays. If I go to one of the links and attempt to reattached the file by selecting it from available uploaded files, again nothing happens after clicking save. I did a quick search and I have ~60± files that need to be fixed. Has anyone run into this? If so, what worked for you?

You will need to manually upload each PDF file to Squarespace. It is very time-consuming as you must upload each file individually.

After uploading the files, you can disconnect each expired link (to the files that were hosted on WP) and create a new link to each uploaded file - again, on a file by file basis.
