JamieO2022
How do you add a bleed around an image that is displayed via a static file link from an image gallery page? When I clickthrough, particularly worse on the mobile, the images are full bleed to the screen and don't look good. Thanks Link to comment

Solution Ziggy Posted December 8, 2022 Solution Share Posted December 8, 2022 It looks like you are getting around the lack of a lightbox option and adding the image location as the image link. This merely loads the image in a new tab, there is no styling possible as this is not loading your website, just the image (no header, no footer, no CSS). The only way to add a margin would be to add this to the image itself. (to look best png with a transparent margin, but this won't be great for image optimization and load time). My best recommendation would simply be to use a gallery that has the lightbox functionality (i.e. any of the non-slideshow types). Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers! JamieO2022
Ah I see - thanks Ziggy, much appreciated. I didn't know about the Lightbox feature - that works much better now I have removed the links Ziggy 1 Link to comment
Ziggy
Yes, it's a shame that the slideshow galleries don't have the lightbox feature, it's because of the interactive nature of a slideshow, but would still be nice even if it create a slightly confused user experience.
