Slideshow Reel - getting rid of the big white box at the end

I have a simple slideshow reel at the bottom of my homepage. Inside its gallery is about 30 images. 

2 questions: 

1. Why does it autoplay with a big white box at the end? I want to remove it. 

2. It only plays like 7-8 images and it has 30 to display within its gallery. I'd like to show all of them.
