Why are items that are not fixed, archived?

Greetings All,

I do not understand why someone would archive a Post when the issue is not resolved.

Requiring everyone to submit to the U.S. 3-3-4 phone number format is simply crazy.  I wanted to reply to this to ask 'When is it coming?', but it is archived.  So now I have to create a new thread to say that this is really needed.

For my site, I changed it to a text field, but in doing so, I lose the country dialing code.

Can we kindly get this fixed, please?  Not everyone lives in the U.S.

You can add 2 Text Fields, with first is country code

then share link to page where you added it

we can give the code to make both side by side.
