How can I create a loading screen

How can I create a loading screen with a vector I have created? It's a word that the letters are see through, I would like it to slide from the left then scale up when it's reached the end of the the word so that you see the site.

I would need the screen to be an off white colour as we are currently re designing the site.

I'd like this to only appear when you first load onto the site.
