Mobile site is making changes to desktop site

Hello there

I had my desktop site pretty much perfect and ready to go then I went to edit the mobile site and it's made the same changes to my desktop site. Is that normal? Is there a way to edit them independently so one change doesn't effect the other?

Hi Rachel, are you on the Fluid Engine editor? If you are then only the layout changes are separate, not the entire page if that makes sense.

Thanks for the reply! Yes I am using the Fluid Engine editor. I am wanting the text to be smaller on the mobile site but when I change it, it's changing on the desktop site also, which doesn't look good. Do you know if there's any way to edit them separately?

Yes, text is not part of the layout, when you change that on mobile it will change on desktop. You can use Custom CSS to tweak the text size on mobile, but only if you're comfortable doing that.
