Desi-Rae
Is there custom code to have the 'shop' page always point directly to a specific category. From my time viewing the forums, I know it's helpful to provide the actual page. https://desi-rae.com/shop/prints-real-surrealism . I would like the shop page to always open to this category however someone arrives at the URL desi-rae.com/shop or clicks on the general store page. This includes if I make the store page my home page. Link to comment

FussAF
It is a possible work around. But I would like the people to see all categories when they navigate. Therefore, the 'product selection' on the Acquisitions page shouldn't be populated by 'All items in the inventory'. But rather the items in a chosen category. Link to comment
Desi-Rae
I don't understand the question 'Do you have any samples?'. If you mean, have I seen it done elsewhere, no. There is one page that Squarespace allows to be set as 'Store': https://desi-rae.com/shop . It lists all the categories at once (see first screenshot). I would like it to highlight one specific category from the get-go (see screenshot), which is https://desi-rae.com/shop/prints-real-surrealism Does the question make sense/is that clear? Desi-Rae
I'm not sure why Squarespace sent an email notification. The question isn't answered. Adding a link is not the same as the default store page automatically highlighting a specific category, which is why I put this in the 'customize with code' section. Link to comment
Beyondspace
Regarding what you described before, I understand that your requirement is: - Clients access https://desi-rae.com/shop > browser automatically redirects to the page: https://desi-rae.com/shop , right? My question is: if clients need to see all your product, how could they do that if we always redirect to your target page? Or you won't let them do that?
