Preventing clients from being cc'd on their form submission

Recommended Posts

Currently, when a client submits a form on our website, the form gets sent to an email address, but the client is cc'd on the email. Is there a way to set up a form block, such that the form gets sent to me but the client is not cc'd on the email? When sending to colleagues I want to prevent a "reply all" situation.

Form Block submissions are sent to the single email address specified in the Storage options of the Form Block. This is usually the site owner or merchant.

If something else is happening on your form then perhaps someone has configured a third party storage option like Zapier or Google Drive, in which case you'll need to check the settings in these third party tools.

Thank you for your quick reply. I think I did not explain it correctly. The storage email is set up properly. My concern is that when I receive the email notification that a form was submitted by a customer on my website, the customer is cc'd on this email notification. I am trying to figure out how to set up the form so that the notification just goes to me, and the customers is not cc'd. (I can obtain their email from the form they completed if I need to contact them).

I understood, but what you have described is not normal for Squarespace. The customer will not be cc'd if a standard Form Block is being used with the email storage option. It will only be sent to you.
