Blog Pages in light box

I want when user on blog page click on read more it will open in a light box or pop, instead of redirecting on specific page https://bluebird-kumquat-e56g.squarespace.com/blogs 

This might be possible with the "Lightbox Anything" plugin, but it would be complicated and difficult to manage with a number of drawbacks. Firstly you couldn't use an actual blog, so you you would lose all the benefits of a blog (URL structure, categories, tags, excerpt, author, use of summary blocks etc.) you would have to have a page for every pseudo-blog and create everything else manually. 

Overall, unless someone else has a better idea for how to do this, I wouldn't recommend this!
