Rotating iFrame 90 degrees

Recommended Posts

We have an iFrame coming from our digital menu program. We need to rotate it 90 degrees, but can't figure out how. I've found a ton of potential solutions online, but none of them are working. Any suggestions?

Here's the iFrame code in there now: <iframe src="https://virtualscreen.optisigns.com/#VTJGc2RHVmtYMTliSUo2Z21nMHRzWHNJazJyMHV1YTFseklZUXFaUVVnb24wb2tOQ3I1RkRKMWFZTDF0UWJENytaMVQrM2ZTYnJDVWFmTjFoUFZYc1E9PQ==" height="100%" width="100%" style="height:100%;width:100%"></iframe>

Thanks!

This ends up rotated...

<iframe src="https://virtualscreen.optisigns.com/#VTJGc2RHVmtYMTliSUo2Z21nMHRzWHNJazJyMHV1YTFseklZUXFaUVVnb24wb2tOQ3I1RkRKMWFZTDF0UWJENytaMVQrM2ZTYnJDVWFmTjFoUFZYc1E9PQ==" height="100%" width="100%" style="height:100%; width:100%; transform: rotate(90deg); transform-origin: bottom center;"></iframe>

But it reminds my why I hate iFrames! Is there any other way you can pull this list into Squarespace?

Thank you Ziggy! I thought I shared the url on the post, but I guess I didn't. Here it is: https://thewoohoo.com/homemadeicecreamlbi

According to the digital signage software company, this is the only way to get it up on our site. It's a flavor board & it changes frequently, so we wanted it to feed right from the asset. I plugged in the code you sent & it worked. Now I just need to figure out how to resize it & get rid of the large black spaces on the top & bottom. One step at a time I guess.

Yes, my quote "solution" unquote, is far from a good solution. But the iFrame is being shaped strangely, taking it's (now) height from the block width, and vice versa, and iFrames are hard to shape at the best of times!

Folks. Just a little fuzzy history. The iframe element was basically the first way ( later half of the 1990's?, iirc ) to include content from other sites before more modern ways came along. So unfortunately iframes suffer from being very basic, although relatively easy to get going with, but not particularly responsive like more modern options.

Look for other options or press your content provider to give you betters options.
