How can i put a delay on a block so it doesn't show my images until the first blocks loads?

When my page loads my images are there then they disappear.  I want them to not be there when the page loads and wait for about 5s or so.  I've tried using transition: 5s; and also animation: ease-in on the block and on an img itself.  Anyone have better ideas?

Let me check first. Can you screenshots your images that you want to wait for loading?

In the recording you will see these images pop up and then disappear. like a flicker.  I don't want them to show up until the background video color comes on.  Is there a way to do that with css? or just something like a set timeout?
