SleepyHollowSwag
I would like to apply "Add to Cart" buttons on my Front Title Page. I would like my "Cart" to tally up as customers add to cart from the front page. I do not wish to require customers to use the "Store Page" though I want the benefits of inventory and size to work with my site. This is not obvious, intuitive or working for me currently and I've missed my projected deadline to go live now. Link to comment
creedon
Have you tried using product blocks, change the settings to get as close as you can to the style you want. Then if needed you can go a bit further with CSS and/or JavaScript. Find my contributions useful? Please like, upvote, mark my answer as the best ( solution ), and see my profile. SleepyHollowSwag
No I am unfamiliar with Product Blocks though I have just recently found a video on YouTube which came close to answering my needs. I am a first time website creator and have apparently created my entire "Store" on my "About" page. This has contributed to my issues. I was under the impression when I selected the style page I would be able to include "add to cart" buttons anywhere I wanted. I understand this was true with 7.0 no? Either way my "Title Page"/"About Page" is what I had in mind for my simple web design. The Store Page is something Squarespace assumes I wanted to include in my design but is also causing more hiccups as items I have placed in certain "Categories" are not visible when I try to edit them and are also misrepresented in their images. It makes a newbies head spin/explode! Edited November 17, 2022 by SleepyHollowSwag Link to comment

I do not wish to require customers to use the "Store Page" As @creedon said, you can create an 'Add to Cart' button by adding a Product Block. Assuming you have already added your product (or products) to a Store page in the NOT LINKED section of your site (so that it isn't visible in your navigation), the product block will allow you to link to the product that you've added, so customers can add it to their cart. First, add a Product Block to your homepage and then remove all the options apart from the button option (see below): Next, search for your product and select it. You should see the 'Add to Cart' button. If you have more than one in stock, you'll also see a Quantity option. If the product has variants, you'll also see the variant drop-down. Did this help?
