How to add double tap on mobile for portfolio background:hover ?

Hey there!

I'm fairly new here, just a started building my website with Squarespace. The Hover:Background do works nicely on desktop but on mobile, the hover effect doesn't work. Is it possible to add a double tap function on mobile for portfolio background:hover ? Where I can tab once for the hover effect and tab the second time to enter the project?

Would really appreciate it if anyone can help me on this!

If you press and hold on mobile it will have the same effect.

Thanks for the help but I feel that aint user friendly at all. I don't think that's how people will interact on a mobile device usually. I think a double tap on mobile device would work better on my website.
