Header color unstable

Hi,

My site is mostly complete after weorking on it for nights and nights...

The sitewide color scheme seems unstable in that the black header is no longer black. It seems like only the header is misbehaving, and it looks incorrect on three browsers (FF, Chrome, Safari).

I've tried Edit site header > Style > darkest

...and the colors change, but then the dark header turns white as the page refreshes after clicking 'save.'

Correction, the footer seems missing altogether now.

Other than "Open a beer and turn off the Macbook," does anyone have any ideas?

Hi 

I do think there is something unusual going on with the header background colors. It seems like background color theme is not recognized correctly.
