Is there a way of allowing users to add events to calendar?

I run a community news website and I would like all readers/users to be able to add their own events to our events calendar. Is there a way to do this with the Squarespace calendar or by using an embedded calendar that you can recommend?

I used Airtable in the past as well as Google calendar. Airtable worked better for my. It was a community calendar and I just shared the form for people to input their events and then made a calendar view and embedded it on the site. 

Thanks, I had looked at using Google Calendar but it doesn't quite have the aesthetic I'm after. Will see if Airtable looks any better. I have found that Time.ly offers a calendar which looks great but is quite pricey if you want to allow multiple people to add events.
