"Add to Cart" button - either link to my FloDesk enquiry form, or add "Booking Enquiry" - then once confirmed, I'd send them a link to payment page.

Hi,

My site is not live yet as trying to work this out.

I'm a Naturopath, & have service offerings - in this case, Workshops.

People can either:

1) Book a Private Workshop (I have a link to a FloDesk form in product description currently collecting details I need) or

2) Join a Waitlist for when I next deliver it, depending on demand (also have a FloDesk form in product description)

Either option comes to me - we confirm a date & venue/zoom - then I want to send them a link to payment (stripe is set up).

My FloDesk forms are fine, but I can't link to them via the "add to cart" button, OR remove it, OR change to "booking enquiry".

Is there any way to do this, without paying for an expensive extension?

I will go to Commerce Basic, but the waitlist is more geared for products than services, & still doesn't allow that middle step of interaction to arrange dates/times/venues.

(I already have a Clinic Software - Simple Clinic - for scheduling, client details, consultations etc - so please don't suggest scheduling as part of a solution.  I can charge through that instead but it's ugly & clunky, & I would prefer to do from my website).

Many thanks in advance,

Caro

Hi @creedon - thanks so much for your response.

I did think of that but I don't want to use schedule, as am already paying for scheduling with my "Simple Clinic" Clinic Management Software.

Being able to link the button to either FloDesk or Zapier would be great - but is not an option.

The point is - I want to use the SquareSpace Shop - but I want to manually send them the payment link ONCE all the service elements are confirmed - rather than billing them straight away.

My code has nothing to do with scheduling.

It simply allows a product in a store product detail page to redirect the add to cart button to a URL instead of adding that product to the cart.

Thank you for posting this. I have a feeling it's going to come in handy with a current client. I'll go check out the previous post you shared.

You are welcome.

This is a fairly common request from folks. They like the layout of a Store/Product page but don't want to add all or some of their products into the cart. They want to redirect to another page for an alternative payment system, gather more information, and etc.

I'm seeing it a lot with authors who reach out. Tons of them use Payhip for their books and even though they can embed they don't like the way it looks.

Oh so sorry @creedon - I had seen that 'scheduling app' word & thought it was the SqSp scheduling, so hadn't read on.  I'm thinking this will be excellent - thank you so much!!  Like Sarah White on the other chat, I'll have lots of different links ... I'll check it out tomorrow with fresh eyes.  I'm not very technical 😆 so night time is not the best time to do techo things - I'm in NZ.
