If you visit my homepage, (ernieparada.com) theres a slideshow carousel right as it loads, but the left and right buttons are so small and light that they may as well not be there. Id like to either change them, bold them, give them a background, or any combination of these. If looked and tried all the suggestions here, none of them seem to make any change at all.

You can make the arrows bigger, something like this: .gallery-slideshow-control-btn .caret-right-icon--small { width: 18px; height: 32px; } Hope that helps!

You can make the arrows bigger, something like this: 

.gallery-slideshow-control-btn .caret-right-icon--small {
    width: 18px;
    height: 32px;
}
