Two Websites on One

Recommended Posts

Hi There,

I've built a website for a new cocktail bar and restaurant but with a hidden bar in the basement.

I've managed to somewhat have different navigational menus by blocking certain pages in the header code and have managed to change the logos and footers.

Any advice on what else I could do to make them more distinct and also how do I change the header colour, and change the main button to go to a different location? The book now, I want to go to a different email whether you're on bellandviv pages vs drinks trolley.

Look forward to hearing from this brilliant community, i've learnt so much from other peoples posts.

Can you share your website URL? It would be interesting to see what you've achieved so far!

Header background colours can be changed reasonably easily. Luckily with Squarespace 7.1 you get lots of section background colour options, and setting up a couple that you're not using on one half of your website with a completely different colour range can make a big difference to the style. Font changes, especially when you use dramatic typefaces can really make a big difference in differentiation of the two sides of your website (you won't need to upload a new font, just reference in and apply it to the headings on certain pages). Have you changed the header logo? Necessary?
