Google not indexing Squarespace images?

I have quite a few pictures underneath the "Contact info" on my website (an online portfolio/CV), having submitted several Google indexing requests in Google search console. I first used a gallery, but realized Google didn't index the images in it. I then added all the images as individual blocks. The images have unique filenames and metadata, but there is still nothing on Google after several weeks and indexing requests. 

When I look at what Google has crawled, the images all show up under "more info" as "couldn't be loaded". See screenshot. 

Does this mean SquareSpace is totally useless when it comes to having images showing up on a Google images-search? 

I'm wondering the same thing. I just created a full artist portfolio site, and in my Google Search console I'm seeing "150 pages not indexed".
On further inspection, it appears that these "pages" are just the artist's images.
