Is it possible to see and edit template HTML code?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

Is it possible to see and edit template HTML code? I want to add google translation to my site, but the options that I have gotten from support to add custom HTML code is not helpful for this. I need to add content to the body so the translation option can be displayed.

The website password (if you go to the website) is "pjmb".

Thanks,

Zulu

Can you share your website URL?

Can you share the code that you're trying to add?

What content are you wanting to put here?

Is this a Google Translate widget?

I added it to the original post so I'm unsure why it didn't add it, but the url is https://www.sweetescapesllc.net and the password is "pjmb"

I am trying to implement this: https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_google_translate.asp

It is the bottom example.

I want to add the google translate option to the nav part of the website to the right of the social media accounts.

Yes, if I understand your question.

Hi @Zulu,

You can add code to the content of your page with a Code Block. The code added to the block will be added to the <body> section of the HTML code of the site. Here's a guide to help:

You can also add code to the <head> section of the site in the Settings -> Advanced -> code injection panel, Header section. Here's another guide:

I want to add the google translate option to the site header. It isn't giving me an option to add a code block when I edit the site header. I need to physically add the google translate element in order to make it display it where I want it.
