Trouble adding custom font

I am trying to incorporate a few fonts requested by my client, however once the font has been added I get a "Syntax Error on line 1" and will not allow me to save the fonts added. 

Note: I did convert the font to .ttf 

I am attaching screenshots of both ways I attempted to add the custom font. I appreciate any assistance with this.
