Anchor links for fluid engine not working after first click

Hi, I put two anchor links on my homepage. Both are in buttons and go to the same section on the same page. Both work separately after a refresh. However, when i click the first anchor link it works but when i want to test the second anchor link without refreshing the page it doesnt work.

My page isn't currently live but I want to make sure that if someone was on the page live, both work every time the button anchor link is clicked and they go to the same section. Is this just a backend thing? Or should i create multiple anchor link codes that land to the same section? Thanks.

In case your site does not go-live, you can set your site with the protected password so we can take a look

Can you show screenshots of the anchor links?

So the blue and purple buttons should lead to the code block I have on the 3rd screenshot. Like i said, they both work but only on a fresh page.

In addition, I suggest using the following code to make your scrolling action smoothly

html {
  scroll-behavior: smooth;
}

Hope it makes sense

Thanks a bunch! Yes, was going to add that in - thanks! 🙂

I had this same issue. Thankfully it doesn't happen in the live version of the site, but it cost me about an hour until I found this forum post which made me realize that it's only an issue in the non-live version! Definitely a bug with the editing experience / misleading!
