Sending information from embedded software to squarespace basket

Hi,

I have an embedded product configurator on my website which allows the customer to design their product in any size and colour etc, with various options within each style. All in all it allows millions of possible designs (when factoring in different sizes) and displays a live price to the customer. The software allows the information from here e.g. price, product description etc to be sent to a parent window/iframe/ or URL.  Is it possible to send external information such as this to the squarespace basket to allow checkout through there, if not is there any other way to achieve this?
