DesignbyCaroline
I don't find anything on this topic here in the forum or anything super helpful on Google. So maybe somebody here can help with some tips. I have a client that wants a background video on the website. It is from Adobe Stock, HD quality, 1920x1080px and has 39.4mb in size. How should I optimize this for a fast loading website? Pixel size? mb size? quality? Software to export? Many thanks 🙏 Link to comment

If you plan to upload the video directly to Squarespace then you should not need to make changes to the video, unless it does not meet the specification. For example, it will need to be limited in length to 60 seconds for use as a background video. After the video has been uploaded, Squarespace will automatically convert it to an mp4 file in 1080p and 360p formats to maximise compatibility with all devices. Did this help?
