Moving a CSS-inserted slider to under the Navigation Menu

Recommended Posts

Site URL: https://pike-ellipse-88xs.squarespace.com/

Dear All,

I am really struggling to get the right type/size of text & image slider on to the top of the home page.

I want the slider to appear just under the navigation menu (when the navigation options are fully expanded) and the entire slider should be seen as the webpage is loaded without having to scroll down any further.

Since I couldn't find a way to get the right size of slider using either the 'gallery' or 'summary' blocks/modules within squarespace and with those that I tried, the tex was too small , I designed a slider script from elfsight and pasted it into the script box unde rthe 'advanced' tools in the 'Page Settings'.

I would appreciate any help on how to get the script to appear (only on the home page), under the navigation menu, when the navigation menu is fully extended when hovered-over. Currently, the slider comes right at the top of the page using the following script/code (see attached pictures also):

<script     src="https://apps.elfsight.com/p/platform.js" defer></script>
<div class="elfsight-app-d75a4b01-bfab-4d6f-8427-7cdef7903d09"></div>

Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks for replying Ziggy,

The site-wide password is: JustPeaceDemo!

The Slider is on the 'Home' page and we only want it on the home page - not on other pages.

We also want to ensure that the logo, navigation menu and the slider fits fully on the first page (so is reactive to the screen/tablet it is viewed on).

Look forward to your thoughts!

Best wishes.

In your Page Header code, cut Line 2

Next edit Homepage > Add a Code Block > Paste the Line 2 code
