What is the best way to create a moving image header for our website.

I would like to have a website header that shows a picture with an arrow moving every couple of seconds and showing a different picture. It's perfect for displaying several of your services... 
The square space website has a headline feature with automatic content management, but unfortunately, it won't work for a header on top of a site because it won't cover the menu background.
