Syntax Error LINE 1

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I am trying to add a ResDiary widget to my website, everytime I go to the custom css and paste the code I get the error message Syntax Error On Line 1... Here's the code, anyone know why this is happening?

<div id="rd-widget-frame" style="max-width: 285px; margin: auto;"></div>

<input id="rdwidgeturl" name="rdwidgeturl" value="https://booking.resdiary.com/widget/FixedSize/TheRose/913?includeJquery=false" type="hidden">
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://booking.resdiary.com/bundles/WidgetV2Loader.js"></script>

The Custom CSS panel is for CSS only, whereas the code you've quoted is HTML so must be added to a Code Block.

I've added the code block to the page and added the code but it just says 'script disabled'

As a security measure, scripts will not run in a code block when you’re logged in. The 'script disabled' message is trying to explain this, but it isn't a very friendly message.

To test the script, visit your site in an incognito browser without logging in.
