How to change the width & background color of individual blog pages?

Hello, 

I'm trying to find a code that extends the width of my blog content as well as changing the background color to black to eliminate the white bars on the side.

Try adding to Home > Design > Custom css

Apologies if I wasn't clear but I need a general code that that updates ALL the blog posts, not just the one I sent. Is this possible?
