"Data collection isn’t active for your website"

I'm a tech noob, so a lot of this stuff goes over my head, but before I moved to Squarespace, Google Analytics would show me website visits etc. Now that I've moved, and also started a Workspace account to keep my domain email address, when I log into Analytics, I get: "Data collection isn’t active for your website. If you installed tags more than 48 hours ago, make sure they are set up correctly."

Do I need a google tag? I searched in the Squarespace Help, but all I saw is stuff about campaigns and whatnot. I just want to be able to use Analytics for very basic stuff, seeing website visits, which pages are viewed the most, where my viewers come from etc.
