Hi there,

I would like to change the background colour of my blog page. If I do this via the themes it also cahnges the background colour of each individaul blog which I do not want to happen.

Looking for a darker grey colour background for the blog page and then each blog post to remain with a white background.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi @Maksymrewko, despite the background colour of the blog defaulting to the same as the section background on the main page, you should be able to update the individual blog colour backgrounds when editing the page. You could do it with CSS so the default is white, but it's best to avoid CSS when you can. Hope this helps!

@Ziggy I'm hoping to only change the section background colour on the blog main page to something like F6F7F9. The individual pages could saty as white

What you need to do is edit one of your blogs, then edit the Section and click on the Colors tab. there you can pick one of the 10 color themes for the blog background. If the background color isn't available on one of those they can all be adjusted in the Design -> Site Styles -> Colors menu.

Hi Ziggy - If i change section background of the blog main page to grey it will change all of the individual blog posts to grey as well. I do not want this.

I would like the main blog page to have a grey background and each individual blog post to have a white background

Set the blog to white, and then add this Custom CSS:

#collection-61606868edd4254497d6e4a6 {
  .section-background {
    background-color:#F6F7F9!important;
  }
}
