Integrating Digital and Physical Products

I know at present physical and digital products are separate but wondered if there are any plans to integrate the two.  As a photographer who sells both physical prints and digital downloads I have to create the product three times, once to sell a physical print, once to sell a low resolution digital print and once for a high resolution digital print.
