How to change a currency format in 7.1 from US$197.00 to $197

Recommended Posts

Squarespace changed the way that prices were formatted on 23 August 2022.

Regarding the currency symbol, you can remove the "US" by setting the site language to English (United States) in Settings > Language and Region > Site Languages.

Regarding the decimal fraction, all the answers posted before 23 August 2022 (including the one mentioned above) will no longer function as intended. This is because of the Squarespace update that I referred to above. For this reason, I don't think you'll find a published solution for removing the trailing zeroes right now. We'll need to write one. 🙂

My Store Price Change code should be able to handle this without any updates to my software.

@michaela If it doesn't let me know.

Thanks so much, that worked! Also, removing the decimal as suggested above still worked fine! x
